    This, my friend, is the million dollar question that I asked myself when I was going through the nightmare of not getting enough sleep myself...

    I tried everything you can think of…

    Supplements (which never seemed to work, at least not after the first week or two)…

    Meditating before bed (which was difficult, inconvenient and time consuming)...

    Consultations with various medical experts - including Doctors, alternative Doctors and so-called “Sleep Experts”...

    I hate to say it, but I even got so desperate I actually tried sleeping pills…

    Though I quickly stopped the sleeping pills once I started really researching sleep in a big way - and discovered how HARMFUL they can be....

    In fact, it was the endless hours of research that I did that led me to the understanding that as everyone gets older, they don't make enough of the key hormones and chemicals they need for a good night's sleep…

    Discovering this scientific fact was a revelation - it made it so clear to me why I was struggling to sleep no matter what I tried, and as a result, why I was feeling so low, so lacking energy and testosterone, and so ‘down in the dumps.’

    Once I understood that as we age we no longer produce as much of the chemicals we need to have in order to get to sleep, I ramped up my research. I needed to know:

    And that’s when I discovered that...

    But what if you don’t have enough melatonin?

    “Melatonin levels decline gradually over the life-span and may be related to lowered sleep efficacy, very often associated with advancing age, as well as to deterioration of many circadian rhythms.”(1)

    What this is basically saying is that as you get older, you have less melatonin, and you sleep less well. And it gets worse:

    “Melatonin exhibits immunomodulatory properties, and a remodeling of immune system function is an integral part of aging. Finally, because melatonin is a potent free radical scavenger, its deficiency may result in reduced antioxidant protection in the elderly which may have significance not only for aging per se but also may contribute to the incidence or severity of some age-related diseases.”(2)

    To put it in simple terms, not only do you have less and less melatonin as you get older, but less melatonin also makes you AGE FASTER.

    Does that mean then, that if you are able to get more melatonin, you can slow down the aging process?

    Countless studies are piling up that says YES!

    For instance, several Preclinical studies found that melatonin increased the life span of animals by up to 20%—prolonging their youthful character in the process(3).

    As a potentially life changing anti aging molecule, that’s 100% natural in your body, it’s no surprise that there’s also research showing that Melatonin can:

    The first of those compounds is...

    GABA

    GABA is a neurotransmitter that’s naturally occurring in your body.

    What does that mean? Basically, it’s a chemical that tells your nervous system how to feel a certain way. We already talked about two of these:

    Melatonin, which makes you feel sleepy

    And...

    Serotonin (which your body makes out of Melatonin) which makes you feel happy and confident

    So what does GABA do?

    GABA makes you feel peaceful.
